Furniture and décor chosen with care — filter, compare and buy with confidence.
The bedroom should be the calmest room in the house. At D&D Home beds, wardrobes and dressers, mattresses, duvets, bed sheets, pillows and towels sit in one category so you can complete the room in a coordinated way. Room amenities and hotel beds are also available for hotels, villas and guest houses.
Common bed sizes are about 90x200 cm single, 160x200 cm double and 180x200 cm king; always pick a mattress that matches the bed. Most people find a medium-firm mattress comfortable, but the best choice depends on your weight and sleeping habits. Use a mattress protector to keep the mattress clean and change sheets and covers with the season. Before buying a wardrobe, measure the wall space and how far the doors open.
The most common size is 160x200 cm. For a larger room a 180x200 cm bed gives each person more space.
Usually every eight to ten years, or sooner if it sags, the springs are noisy or you wake up with back pain.
It protects the mattress from stains, moisture and dust, and is far easier to wash than the mattress itself.
